Statements such as "fighting for life" carry big and heavy meanings because they deal with the value of life. These statements convey a passionate stance in the documentary. Not only is language used to convey emotion, but it is also used to evoke a response from the audience. The documentary's target audience seems to be Christian, and in the documentary, there are many references to the bible. An example of this is the use of the words "sanctity" and "value". This is used to portray how the life of a human being is valued by the Christians in the documentary. However, not every Christian has the same perspective as the Christians in Armor of Light.
